Vegas P&L
So the dust settles on a fun, if unprofitable trip to the gambling capital of the world. The disappointing aspect was that I never got going in any of the five serious tournaments I entered, never making it past half way through the field. This was caused by a wretched run of cards, combined with a couple of dubious decisions (both WSOP exits).
The cash games went a little better, showing a small profit after a disappointing start. I won several big pots against the Baron, in fact this regular opponent was the player I ran golden against compared to the rest of the players. The cash game profit clawed back the few crapshoot entries which resulted in swift exits.
By contrast, I spun it up on the table poker games (Crazy4Poker, Texas Holdem Bonus, Ultimate Texas Holdem) to the tune of $1.5k or so, but unfortunately I can’t really justify adding these to the poker P&L. As a result the poker perspective left me about 4k USD down.
Unsurprisingly, I have no desire to play any poker at the moment. The numerous 12 hour sessions have really taken my appetite away - who knows when it will return.
